In addition to its recreational offerings, the park promotes sustainability and biodiversity with features like themed gardens that reflect the local ecosystem. Eco-friendly practices like waste management, autonomous water supply, energy self-sufficiency, and air quality improvement further emphasize its commitment to sustainability.
A monumental natural playground on the theme of biodiversity
‘Parc de la Loubière’ boasts 500 square meters of play areas catering for children aged 1 to 12 years.
Proludic was thrilled to contribute to this project by creating an impressive playground themed around biodiversity. The use of our Origin’ natural play equipment range provided the perfect solution aligning with the project vision for the park. Crafted from its durable and beautiful Robinia wood, the Proludic Origin’ play equipment integrates harmoniously with natural landscapes. Moreover, this material choice ensures longevity and a connection to the environment, enhancing the overall experience.
What’s all the buzz about?
The centrepiece of the playground is a Proludic play structure designed in the shape of a giant Bee (J49119®) that invites children on a fun-filled adventure!
The choice of a Bee – a strong symbol of biodiversity and sustainability – came naturally. It not only captures the essence of the theme, but also engages children into active and imaginative play. The play features, both inside and outside the Bee, include a variety of activities for children to test their climbing and balancing skills. Other play elements include an interior tunnel net, a fireman’s pole, a slide and more for children’s enjoyment!
A nest full of play adventures
The adventure continues with our Nest Tower (J49411®), providing even more climbing and sliding thrills! Children can climb into the treehouse for an enjoyable view of the park and watch the action below before zipping down the slide.
At ground level, kids of all ages and diverse abilities can join in the fun. They can engage in sensory and imaginative role-play at the shop counter, or relax and chat with friends at the picnic table. The Origin’ Nest Tower ensures inclusive play experiences, making it a must-visit attraction for family fun.
More play with Origin’
With our Origin’ Trail Course (J49155®), children can imagine crossing a stream by balancing on tree trunks and weaving through fallen branches, it’s quite a challenge! The Nature Trail (J49154®) resembles a mini wind farm and fosters sensory play for all. Two Origin’ Springers (J880) along with the Slackline (J5406-M) complement the playground by providing fun dynamic and balancing activities, perfect for sharing the excitement with a friend.
The playground at Parc de la Loubière complements the park’s sustainability theme while providing a multitude of play opportunities. By incorporating play equipment inspired by natural forms and materials, Proludic has crafted a space that not only entertains but also educates, highlighting the importance of biodiversity and fostering a deeper connection with nature.
