The Dudley Chesham Sportsground All Abilities Play Space was designed to fulfill the local community’s wish to include all community members in the joy of play. “Our community has told us how important it is that we create fun spaces where every child, every parent, and every member of our diverse community can come together to experience the pure joy of play without limitations,’’ says Wollondilly Mayor Matt Gould.

For the Young’uns

As the name says this play space provides fun for all. Let’s begin with the Diabolo Baby Multi Play Unit providing endless fun adventures suitable for toddlers. Hiding, sheltering, tactile stimulation, sliding, climbing and handling are just some of the play opportunities.

Thrill seekers’ play

The Ka’Yop Dynamic Tower has a variety of features for little thrill seekers. Enjoy play features such as climbing, sliding, hanging, swinging, balancing, and rotating, along with sensory stimulation, while meeting fellow adventurers. Unique dynamic features, including the track slide and the gyro, add an extra thrill factor to this fun tower. Even more exciting play activities await on the big Ixo unit, where little monkeys can climb to their hearts’ content.

Inclusive fun for all

A double bay swing set with a cradle seat, a flat seat and a pod seat let’s everyone fly and touch the sky.  Additional inclusive play experiences await on the Inclusive Roundabout and the All-Terrain Vehicle, getting everyone spinning and springing with joy. If you like spinning by yourself the Rotofun will be your go to. Are you after shared spins that get your tummies tickling? Fly high on the Hip Hop.

“It was an honour to be able to officially open Wollondilly’s fantastic new play space at Dudley Chesham Sportsground,’’ Mayor Matt Gould said. “The facility is already being enjoyed by many of our local families, especially children. It’s great to see the project now complete and the kids in action.”
